Haven Quilters is a quilt club which was established in 2007 with 5 members and has now expanded into a thriving group of 31 enthusiastic quilters. Following an article in the Grimsby Telegraph reporting that our regular meeting place, the Yarborough Community Centre was closing, we had a tremendous response offering us new places to meet.

From the 24th July 2012 we met every Tuesday in the St Mark's Church Hall, Laceby Road, Grimsby from 10am to 4pm. However due to unforseen circumstances it has been necessary for us to move yet again.

From Tuesday 13th September 2016 we will be meeting at the Masonic Hall, The Pelham Suite, Cambridge Road, Grimsby, DN34 5SZ from 10am to 3.30pm.

Some ladies come for the morning, some the afternoon and some for the whole day.

The group has regular guest tutors who deliver workshops in patchwork, quilting, machine embroidery and a variety of other sewing projects. Also the group arranges coach trips to places of interest such as The Fabric Guild in Leicester and the Heirloom Quilters Quilt Show in Scarborough.
